Roaming
Roaming means that operators agree to allow their customers to access each
other’s network. Thereby, you can use your HomeRun subscription in
other W-LAN networks outside the coverage area of HomeRun.
Telia HomeRun works actively on establishing international roaming agreements
with other W-LAN operators around the world. Roaming is already working
and available for the customers that have monthly subscriptions with HomeRun.
When using roaming, you have to start with changing the settings for the
W-LAN card and change your Network ID settings, from "homerun"
to the network identity of the visited network. Thereafter you login with
your normal HomeRun username followed by a roaming realm "@homerun.telia.com"
and the password.
Normally the loginpage will appear when you launch the web browser. In exceptional
cases you might have to manually type in the URL for the respective network.
The fee will be based on the roaming operators pricing and will be added
to your normal HomeRun invoice.
